Will a shuttle service be provided from Paddington to Old Oak Common Depot?
Unfortunately, there will not be a shuttle service from Paddington to Old Oak Common Depot. However, please look at our ‘Getting Here’ page for our preferred routes.
Can I purchase tickets over the phone?
The only way you can obtain a ticket for the open day is online in advance, via Billetto. This is due to the sheer volume of people expected and the depot not able to handle or process cash, credit cards, or cheques.
Will any more VIP tickets be released?
At the moment there are no plans for further VIP tickets to be released.
Will there be any parking spaces?
There will be no parking available on site. We strongly discourage driving to the event as most spaces in local residential areas are already taken up by local residents. However, please look at our ‘Getting Here’ page for our preferred routes.
Will there be a special vintage bus service from East Acton or Willesden Junction?
Unfortunately there will not be any special bus service due to problems we see in keeping a constant flow since either needing a large turning circle to avoid low bridges or finding a sensible route that by the time of waiting, boarding and journey time, the majority of visitors could walk it quicker. However, TfL will be running bus route 228 for those less able to walk, please look at our ‘Getting Here’ page.
Are children under 4 years of age free?
Yes. Children aged 3 and under do not need a ticket. Just bring them along.
Will there be any trade stands, groups/society stalls and merchandise?
Yes. Please see our 'Exhibits' page for the latest list of the traders and groups/society stalls that intend to participate. We also aim to have specialised programmes and merchandise available on the day.
